I'm Martin, an aspiring engineer hailing from Sweden. I've spent four years immersing myself in the world of

Industrial Engineering and Management

at Linköping University. Throughout my academic journey, I've cultivated a deep passion for tackling intricate challenges and thriving in collaborative group projects. Currently I am on a gap year where I inted to explore some personal projects and further hoan my skills.

My focus in the master's program has predominantly revolved around

Machine Learning and AI

. For a deeper dive into these projects, you can find detailed information on the Projects Page→. This choice has been one of the most challanging but rewarding decisions during my academic career.The courses have been super interesting and my ability to

quickly understand complex concepts

and apply them has greatly improved.

While I have a strong affinity for programming and software engineering, I have for some time now had a plan to look för more data centric roles. I'm particularly intrigued by this field and aspire to work with

data and analytics

once I've obtained my degree. I believe that my combination of bussiness and management courses and computer science courses puts me in a great position to not only extract and present data, but also understand and convey the bussiness value of the work that is being done.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I find immense joy in engaging in physical activities. Presently, my main interests lie in running and strength training, with a personal goal of competing in a mountain race in northern Sweden in 2024.
